Connecting Students with Local Industry

...

The Mechanical Contractors Association of Kitchener Waterloo Student Chapter is a student run club at The University of Waterloo. In the spirit of our university's world famous co-operative education program, we connect students with local industry.

ABOUT US

The Mechanical Contractors Association of Kitchener Waterloo Student Chapter is a student run club at The University of Waterloo. We associate with The Mechanical Contractors Association of Kitchener Waterloo (MCAKW) and The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC). MCA is a network of industry professionals. It’s members come from a diverse set of organizations such as construction contractors, manufacturers, wholesale suppliers, and of course, universities. We as a student chapter hope to be your connection to the MCA network.

The best personnel on a project are not valuable because they are a one stop shop for all projects solutions. Projects have reached a level of complexity that makes it impossible for anyone to have all the answers. There is simply too much information to internalize. Therefore, the most valuable problem solvers are the people who can scan their contact list and reach out to someone who can eventually lead them to a solution. If you want to excel in industry or academia you cannot passively develop this contact list. MCAC, MCAKW and the Kitchener-Waterloo student chapter strive to provide an environment where your contact list can flourish.
